Today, I want to be in tune with Jesus,
And do those things that He determines best,
That my soul and body would be blameless,
And that my feeble efforts may be blessed.

I want to strive with everything within me,
To have my heart with Jesus in accord,
And my spirit fully in subjection,
And bound up in a bundle with the Lord.
That my works withal might be established,
I commit to God my fragile mind,
Knowing in my state of profound weakness,
Through faith in Christ, great power I will find.
I pray that I might have a greater longing
To spend my time in study and in prayer,
Knowing that my needy soul and spirit
Are always fully satiated there.
For I find God's grace is all-sufficient
To settle and to quell my spirit's strife
While I suffer violent tribulation;
The momentary pain of earthly life.
And I know that Christ is always with me,
And that He will be with me to the end,
For I could never have a better Father,
And He has never failed to be my Friend.
And Jesus is at God's Throne, interceding
For the blessed people of His Name,
So I will hasten to the Throne of Mercy,
Lift my hands to God, and do the same.
And when He lifts His voice in tender worship,
I will lift my voice in praises too,
For I long to follow after Jesus,
And do the things that I see Jesus do.
And as He sings His joyful, rising chorus,
Let my heart and spirit full agree,
That I might sing the Royal Anthem with Him,
Lifting up my heart in harmony.
The longing of my heart is after Jesus,
To do His perfect will, and walk His way.
Lord, teach me how to live according to You!

Everlasting consolation!
This gift, I have found
In the gospel of salvation
Where such gifts abound!

Comfort of the Holy Spirit
Sweetly rests on me!
Joyful music! Do you hear it?
Heaven's jubilee!

All my sin and sorrows shattered
In the Christ who died!
All of my accusers scattered-
Distant, far and wide!

I stand boldly in God's presence,
Covered with His grace,
With His cheerful luminescence
Shining on my face!

This my joy is mine forever!
Jesus bought me this!
And I know that I will never
Cease from being His!

Dear Spirit-filled believer,
Grace to you, and peace!
I have a revelation
To make your faith increase.

For God has whispered to me
A promise from His Word.
Just spend a moment with me.
I'll tell you what I've heard.

God's Christ told His disciples,
That when the Spirit came,
Then they would be His witnesses,
And baptize in His Name.

That power that dwells within us-
The power of Pentecost,
Is supernatural power
To witness to the lost.

To tell the world of Jesus,
To baptize and to preach,
To make of men disciples,
To edify and teach,

To tell of dreams and visions,
To stretch out hands to heal,
To call men to repentance
With unrelenting zeal.

We have the power to do this!
Our duty, we'll not shirk.
We have a holy calling,
And we must do this work

Of witnessing for Jesus
To turn His own to Him,
While bearing this world's hatred,
And risking life and limb.

The world will kill God's prophets.
They always have before.
They can destroy the body,
But they can do no more.

That power that dwells within you
Will make an end of strife,
For it is the promise
Of everlasting life!

So stand in this assurance:
God's power is still the same,
So make your stand for Jesus,
And witness in His Name!

Why is it that we see the heathen raging,
And joining all together in accord?
The kings of earth have taken wicked council
Against the holy people of the Lord.

Saying, "We will cast away their bondage from us!
We will do away with all restraint
Through a war of progressive attrition,
And we will bring complaint after complaint!

We will cry and scream 'Discrimination!'
Until we have extinguished all dissent.
We will do away with all things Christian,
And until then, we will not be content!"

And then the Lord who sitteth in the Heavens
Will look on them and then laugh them to scorn.
He will vex them in His sore displeasure,
And at His wrath will all the nations mourn.

God will give His Son a holy people,
According to the pleasure of His will,
And by a firm, eternal declaration,
Set His King upon His Holy Hill.

For the LORD hast spoken it unto Me,
"I will now declare My firm decree:
Thou art Mine own Son, I am Thy Father,
For this day have I begotten Thee!

Ask of Me, My Son!  What shall I give Thee?
I give to Thee the whole earth to possess,
And Thou wilt full subdue and rule it with Me,
Reigning in Thy Truth and Righteousness!"

Christ will break the nations into pieces,
For He will rule them with an iron rod,
And He will reign supreme over all people
In holiness and in the fear of God.

Be wise therefore, oh kings, and be instructed!
Serve the LORD with trembling and fear!
Honor Jesus, lest He become angry,
And you perish quickly on His spear!

Blessed are they that trust His precious pardon!
Blessed are they that put their faith in Him!
He will be their Lamplight in the darkness!
He will be a Sword and Shield for them!

Christ shall reign forever and forever,
And of His Kingdom, there will be no end.
Come render your repentance and your worship,
To whom each head shall bow and knee shall bend!
